• Pour activer le verrouillage appuyant simultanément sur les tou-

ches « FONCTION » et « PROG ».

• « LOC » s´affiche et toutes les fonctions de commande sont ver-

rouillées.

Pour le déverrouillage, maintenez simultanément les touches «
FONCTION » et « PROG » enfoncées jusqu´à ce que « LOC » ne soit
plus affiché. 

Si l´utilisation d´une pièce diverge du programme de temporisation
configurée, la température peut être modifiée à l´aide de la roue de
réglage comme décrit ci-dessus. Mais il est possible aussi de chan-
ger directement entre la température de confort et la température
réduite en appuyant courtement sur la touche «

».

3.6. Repos de chauffage
L´été, quand le chauffage est éteint, les piles de l´actionneur peu-
vent être ménagées. 

• La vanne est ouverte et reste dans cette position. 
• La protection anti-tarte hebdomadaire continue d´être effectuée.

Pour activer le repos de chauffage

• Passez en mode de service « Manu » en appuyant sur la touche «

FONCTION »

• et tournez la roue de réglage vers la droite
• jusqu´à ce que « On » s´affiche.

3.9.2 Selecting the Unit for the Temperature Display
Here you can select whether the target temperature is to be display-
ed in degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit. Confirm your entry by
pressing "PROG".

• Press "PROG" until "SPEC" appears on the display.

• Select the special function "°C°F" with the adjuster wheel and 

• confirm this with the button "PROG".

• Select "°C" or "°F" with the adjuster wheel and 

• confirm this with the button "PROG".

• Press "PROG" until "SPEC" appears on the display.

• Select the special function "dAt" with the adjuster wheel and 

• confirm this with the button "PROG".

Carry out the other settings as described in chapter 2.1.3 "Inserting
the Batteries in the Control Unit". 

3.9.4 CodE
As already described in chapter 1.3 "Security Code", the radio con-
trolled radiator thermostat contains a two-digit security code to pro-
tect the system from interferences by other radio systems. Each
part has approximately 100 different adjustment possibilities so that
you have altogether 1000 security codes available. The same secu-
rity code must be set for all appliances operated in the same room
so that the control unit FHT 8R and the valve drive(s) FHT 8V can
communicate with each other. A (random) security code was alrea-
dy set by the factory so that you do not need to make any adjust-
ments here. If you want to change the code respectively re-transmit
it, proceed as follows:
