3. OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
The speaker switch box is inserted between the speaker outputs of amplifiers and speaker pairs, and can be
operated in two modes. One amplifier signal can be applied individually or in any desired combination to
seven speaker pairs or seven amplifier signals can be applied individually to one speaker pair. In the switch
mode it is possible to use PA (public address) or low-impedance speakers. The combination mode (multi-
zone function) is applicable only for use with PA speakers as they will be connected in parallel by the switch
box. To expand the system to 14 zones in the speaker switch operating mode two units can be connected in
parallel. The supplied remote control facilitates the operation. The switch box can connect max. 25 A per
channel.
