Cisco ASA 5510 AIP10 Price Reduction and New ASA 5500 IPS Solution 
Bundles 

Cisco announces a $2000 list price reduction on the Cisco

®

 ASA 5510 Adaptive Security Appliance with the Advanced Inspection and 

Prevention Security Services Module 10 (Cisco ASA 5510-AIP10); a $1000 list price reduction on Cisco Advanced Inspection and 

Prevention Security Services Modules 10 and 20 (AIP-SSM-10 and AIP-SSM-20); and two new Cisco ASA 5510 IPS solution bundles 

with Security Plus licenses.  

The new lower prices are attractive to customers that need to enhance their firewall security or meet compliance mandates. The 

hardware-accelerated IPS modules—AIP-SSM-10 and AIP-SSM-20—provide proven protection against more than 30,000 threats. The 

Security Plus license delivers several key capabilities, including high-availability failover with active/active and active/standby support, 

higher firewall connection capacity, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The new ASA 5510 IPS solution bundles with Security Plus license 

greatly simplify ordering. And with the new Cisco ASA 5510-AIP20 Security Plus solution, customers get performance-matched IPS 

and firewall in a single, integrated appliance. 

The lower prices are effective immediately. The Cisco ASA 5500 Series IPS solution bundles with Security Plus license are orderable 

now.
