• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse power cord, plug or unit in 

water or other liquid.

• Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or where it could 

touch a heated oven.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including the 

stove.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance 

malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest 

Authorised Service Centre for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

• The use of the kettle is for heating and boiling water only. No other liquid or solid food 

should be placed in the kettle, i.e. chocolate, soups, soap detergent and others.
