important safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed 
including the following:
• Read all instructions before using your food processor “
”.
• Always make sure the food processor is completely assembled before operating. The unit
will not turn on unless properly assembled.
• Be certain bowl cover is securely locked in place while operating appliance.
• To reduce the risk of injury , never place cutting blade on motor base  
 without first putting container properly in place.
• Blade and processing discs are sharp. Handle carefully to avoid injury.
• Never feed food into the food chute by hand; always use the food pusher.
• Do not operate this appliance continuously for more than 3 minutes.
• Always use the food processor on a dry , level surface.
• To avoid product damage, do not lift the food processor by the handle.
• Do not use your food processor if any part is broken.
• If unit is operated in any manner other than indicated in this manual, it may cause material
damages or personal injuries.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades or
discs while processing food to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage
to the food processor . A scraper may be used but must be used only when the food 
processor is not running.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before cleaning and before assembling or removing
parts.
• Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the electrical outlet before changing
accessories or approaching parts that move.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse power cord, plug or motor
base in water or other liquid.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner . Return appliance to the nearest 
Authorised Service Centre for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including the
stove.
• Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner , or where it could
touch a heated oven.
• The motor contains a resettable fuse to protect against overheating after continued heavy
use. If the motor shuts off, turn food processor off  “   ” and unplug it from the electrical 
outlet. After the food processor has cooled, plug it into the electrical outlet and resume 
normal use.
