• Please change the mAs value according to the 

weight of the child:

 

35 – 44 kg 45 mAs

 

45 – 54 kg 60 mAs.

• Children with a body weight of more than 55 kg 

should be examined with an adult protocol.

• CARE Bolus may be used to optimize the bolus tim-

ing. Set the ROI for the monitoring scan in the 
abdominal aorta with triggering threshold of 120 
HU, or use manual triggering.
