The power is turned off and back on, or

The OTU is re-initialised using the three reset commands.

Bit 2:  The Integral OTU/LMU has appeared to have failed or is not
connected and integral RLM is configured. This will switch the
lamps off and not allow them back on even if the OTU/LMU has
come back on line.

Bit 3:  The controller has detected an inconsistency in the lamp fault
indications generated by the OTU. The OTU should detect such
faults before the controller and put a fault in its own log.

Bit 4:  The shared RAM format used by the fitted OTU is not compatible
with the firmware on the Controller.

Bit 5:  The integral OTU facility is enabled and an integral OTU has been
detected but one is not supposed to be fitted.

Bit 6:  Configuration Fault: The integral OTU facility is enabled in the
config PROM but the use of the second config area in the PROM
(where the default OTU configuration resides) is not enabled.

Bit 7:  Not Used

6.4.2.3  Engineering Commands associated with Integral OTU
ENG 198 0 to 31

OTUCFLG - Integral OTUs current fault flags

The Integral OTUs Current Fault Log Flags - see OTU documentation.
Normal examination of the OTU's fault logs should be made using the OTU
commands 'GLF' and 'GLD' rather than these engineering commands.

Note:  This command can still be entered even if no Integral OTU is fitted or one
is connected but has failed but will obviously not return the correct values.

ENG 199 0 to 255

OTUCDAT - Integral OTUs current fault data

The Integral OTUs Current Fault Log Data - see OTU documentation.
Normal examination of the OTU's fault logs should be made using the OTU
commands 'GLF' and 'GLD' rather than these engineering commands.

Note:  This command can still be entered even if no Integral OTU is fitted or one
is connected but has failed but will obviously not return the correct values.
