This section presents calibration procedures for the O

 sensor option and for the CO

2

 

sensor option. 

Calibration begins with connecting the zero and span gases, then setting the 
concentration values.

Bottled gases are connected as follows:

 SENSOR ZERO GAS: Teledyne API recommends using pure N

 when calibrating 

the zero point of your O

 sensor option.

  SENSOR SPAN GAS: Teledyne API recommends using 20.9% O

 sensor.

Set the expected O

 span gas concentration.   

This should be equal to the percent concentration of the O

2

 span gas of the selected 

reporting range (default factory setting = 20.9%; the approximate O

2

 content of ambient 

air).
