The status handle is associated with a command handle. To 
retrieve status information, the status handle must first be 
retrieved from the command handle using 

VS_Command_GetFields

.

The 

VSID_STATUS_TYPE

VSID_STATUS_CODE

VSID_USER_FIELD

 and 

VSID_REQUEST_ID

 parameters are 

valid status handle fields for all VolServ requests.
