5i Series IP Phone Release Notes

Auto-answer calls are no longer rejected when you are already in a call; they are 
now treated as normal calls. The previous behavior affected Fonality HUD users.

Display name portion of the FROM and TO SIP headers are now correctly quoted, 
allowing support for characters such as (, ), [, ]

Phones now support updating the RTP destination when the call is taken off hold – 
this was causing lost voice path on some servers after transfer.

Phones now send an ACK and the call is cleared down correctly when the far-end 
answers the call at the same time that a CANCEL is sent.

Phones initiating the transfer now clear down the transferred call, rather than relying 
on the transferee. This fixes issues with other clients that didn’t clear down the call 
when they were the transferee.

RFC2833 - DTMF support is no longer advertised when the phone is configured to 
only use in-band RTP.

Phones now support updating the Codec when the call is taken off hold– this was 
causing lost voice path after a call was put on hold.

Phones now re-subscribe for SCA and MWI events after receiving a 481 error, which 
can happen after a server reboot.

Phones now clear down a held call on receipt of a 481 in response to an unhold 
attempt or a transfer attempt.

Phones no longer send SDP in the ACK message for calls involving early media.

Phones now support OPTIONS packets within a dialog.

Phones now support Persistent TLS connections using DNS SRV records.

Phones now work correctly behind an ADTRAN TA924E.

Phones now respond to authentication challenges when running behind an 
Edgemarc.

Phones now handle sequence rollovers in SRTP calls correctly.

Phones now include SRTP encryption information in re-INVITE requests.

Phones no longer send a re-INVITE if the user does not enter any more digits after 
receiving a “484 Address Incomplete” response.

Phones now correctly parse XML objects that have a 'space' at the end of a URI.

List objects now support up to 30 items.

FastReboot now works correctly when no language packs installed.
