6-10. X and Y parallel movement of sewing pattern 
You can move the feed mechanism to the desired position to move an already-programmed sewing pattern in a parallel 
direction up, down or to the left or right. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Press the   or   key to select a program number, and then depress 
the foot switch to the 2nd step. 
(If using a two-pedal foot switch, lower the work clamp before 
depressing the start switch.)
 
•  Home position detection will be carried out. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
TEST indicator illuminates, X-SCALE indicator flashes
While pressing the TEST key, press the   key. 
 
 
 
 
•  The parallel movement amount will appear in the menu 
display in units of mm.

Press the SELECT key to switch between the X-SCALE 
indicator and Y-SCALE indicator flashing. Select either 
direction. 
 
 
 
 
The feed mechanism will move by 0.05 mm each time 
the   or    key is pressed. (When the distance reaches 
10 mm, the amount of movement will change to 0.1 mm.)
• When using X-scale parallel movement mode, the 
needle moves the corresponding distance to the right 
when the   key is pressed, and to the left when the 
  key is pressed. 
• When using Y-scale parallel movement mode, the 
needle moves the corresponding distance backward 
when the   key is pressed, and forward when the   
key is pressed.

TEST indicator switches off
Press the TEST key. 
 
NOTE: 
•  The feed mechanism will not move to a position that would move the sewing pattern outside the sewing area. 
•  If you change the program number, X-scale or Y-scale settings, the amount of movement recorded will be reset. 
•  In addition, the amount of movement will be reset if the power switch is turned off and then back on again. However, 
memory switch No. 465 is set to "ON", the amount of movement will be recorded and will not be reset. (Refer to the 
service manual for details on memory switch No. 465.)
