ICE MAKER REQUIREMENTS
Appliance Clearances to allow proper air circulation,
plumbing and electrical connecitons (see Page 2 for
additional details):
Sides of refrigerator to adjacent surfaces: 1/4” (6 mm) min
per side.
Top: 1/2” (13 mm) minimum.
Rear clearance: 1/2” (13 mm) from cover plate (1” or 25
mm total)
Cut out height for refrigerator:
Option 1) without optional cowl: 70” (177.8 cm)
Option 2) with 6” high optional cowl: 76 (193.1 cm)
Cut out width for refrigerator’s main body: 36-1/2” (93 cm)
Max. cut-out depth: 24 1/2” (62 cm)
Note: If refrigerator is installed beside an appliance, it is
important that there be at least  5" (13 cm) between the
refrigerator and range for proper air circulation.
REFRIGERATOR REQUIREMENTS
Electrical hookup must be performed by a licenced
electrician and outlet must be properly grounded.
Refrigerator must be plugged into its own individual
electrical outlet
115 Volts 60Hz 15 amps
Refrigerator must be electrically grounded in
compliance with local codes.  In the absence of local
codes, with the National Electrical code ANSI/NFPA 70
“Latest Edition” in the US or in Canada with the
Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, CSA Standard C22, or
the Local National Electrical Code.
Unit supplied with a 5 ft (1.5 m) power cord.

Note: Ice maker factory installed on 36” models.
• AntiTip Bracket: Every refrigerator includes an
anti-tip bracket which must be properly in-
stalled to prevent  the refrigerator from tipping
forward should downward pressure be applied
with both doors open.
• To fasten bracket to the wall, distance from
floor to underside of bracket will be 68-3/4
(174.6 cm) min to 69-1/4 (176 cm) max. Mark
wall where studs are located.
• Slide unit into opening and raise back of unit by
turning 3/8” adjustors clockwise until unit is
snug against bracket (removing kickplate).
• Level front legs by turning two 3/8” adjustors
clockwise (accessible by removing kickplate).
• Once unit is in place, adjust both front “stability”
legs securely against floor.
Water Filter:
In-line water filter must be installed in
an accessible location to prevent dam-
age to refrigerator’s water solenoid.

Shut Off Valve:
Shut off valve must be installed in an
accessible location for serviceability
Tubing Required:
Distance from the water valve at back of refrig-
erator to water supply pipe PLUS 8 feet (244 cm).
Excess tubing to be coiled into three 10” (25 cm)
diameter loops to allow refrigerator to move
away from wall after installation.
1/4” outer diameter copper Tubing (both ends of
tubing must be cut square).
Water pressure must be between 35-100 psi to
account for water filter
Safety
Corner Installations:
To allow door to open 90 degrees, corner
installations must allow 4” (10 cm) space be-
tween wall and refrigerator on hinge side. Filler
wood strip recommended for aesthetics.

Fridges must be factory ordered left or
right hinge. Doors are not reversible
