Enabling and Configuring 802.1X Authentication
802.1X Authentication for each NIC is enabled or disabled in the Setup > Ethernet Settings dialog box. 
The following additional table columns are used to modify these parameters:
● 802.1X Authentication
● User Name
● Password
Modify the Ethernet Settings table fields as set out below:
802.1X Authentication - Configuration

802.1x Authentication
For each NIC, click the arrow to open the drop-down menu and select (or 
disable) the 802.1X Authentication method: 
Off
EAP-MD5
EAP-TLS
PEAPv0
MSCHAPv2
User Name
Enter the User name that the RMX will use to register with the 802.1X 
Authentication Server
. This must be the RMX’s DNS name and can be up to 
256 characters.
Note: If the Domain Name (DC) field was completed in the Certificate Request
the User must be: 
<Common Name (DNS)>@<Domain Name (DC)> as set out in the Certificate 
Request
.
Password 
(EAP-MD5, PEAPv0 and 
MSCHAPv2 only)
Enter the Password, that the RMX will use to register with the 802.1X 
Authentication Server
. Up to 256 Unicode characters can be used.
The Password is always displayed as four asterisks.
