Web Interface: Enable SNMP Trap

Enable SNMP trap for the server 10.100.5.17.

a. Select System > SNMP > SNMP V1/V2 > Trap Configuration. A screen similar to 

the following displays.

b.  In the Community Name field, enter public.

c.  In the Version list, select SNMPv1.

d.  In the Address field, enter 10.100.5.17.

e.  In the Status field, select Enable.

f.  Click the Add button.

Set the Link Up/Down flag.

a. Select System > SNMP > SNMP V1/V2 > Trap Flags. A screen similar to the 

following displays.

b.  For Link Up/Down, select the Enable radio button.

c.  Click Apply.
