30 Changing the Password

To protect your 3Com

®

 Unified Switch 24 from unauthorized access, you 

should change the default password as soon as possible.

To change the password:

1 Log onto the switch.

The default username is admin.

■

The default password is blank (no entry).

2 Select Administration -> Authentication -> Password Management.

3 Click the Modify tab and enter your new password.

4 Click Apply.

The password has now been changed.
