During playback (or Live Memory Playback), press e for 
forward variable-speed search, or w for reverse 
variable-speed search.

● The playback speed changes for each direction by pressing 

e

 

or 

w

 repeatedly. Refer to the illustration below.

● To resume normal playback, press 4.

During playback (or Live Memory Playback), press 

(START –). The recorder rewinds the picture a little 

(about 7 seconds) and resumes playback.

● If the button is pressed repeatedly, the recorder rewinds the 

pictures continuously and resumes playback.

During playback (or Live Memory Playback), press 

(START +). The recorder skips forward (about 30 

seconds at a time) and resumes playback.

● If the button is pressed repeatedly, the recorder skips 

continuously and resumes playback.

Your recorder can automatically play back the whole programme 
100 times repeatedly.

During playback, press 4 and hold for over 5 seconds, 
then release.

● The Play indicator ( 

u

) on the front display panel and the 

HDD playback indicator blink slowly.

● To resume normal playback, press 4.

The HDD deck can record 2 soundtracks (L and R).

Pressing AUDIO changes the soundtrack as follows:

For stereo programme

For monaural programme

For main audio of bilingual programme

For sub audio of bilingual programme

For NICAM stereo programme

For NICAM monaural programme

For NICAM main audio of bilingual 
programme

For NICAM sub audio of bilingual 
programme

For NICAM FM programme

For AUX input sounds (L+R)

For AUX input sound (L)

For AUX input sound (R)
