Dialing with line keys
Your telephone can be configured with either auto-
matic or selectable line seizure. The service personnel
specifies whether a line (and which line) is seized auto-
matically when the handset is lifted or when speaker-
phone (only available with optiPoint 420 standard) is ac-
tivated.

Dialing with automatic line seizure:
n
Lift the handset.

Press the key.
The display briefly indicates the line number and the line
status and then prompts you to dial.

The selected key’s lamp lights up.
