edited in an existing object. 
  The Network Number field allows you to enter the network number. If no value is 
provided, the controller will use the network number from the database. 
  The MAC Address field allows you to enter the MAC address. This field cannot be 
edited in an existing device. 
  The Initial Value Priority field allows you to provide the priority used for writing 
initial values.  
  The Save Relinquish Default Value options (Y/N) allow you to specify whether or 
not the relinquish default values of the device will be stored in the controller.  
  The Device Password field allows you to choose a password for the device, using 
up to 30 alphanumeric characters.  
 
Tips for Using the FLN Device Editor 
  When an MS/TP device is added as a Master device, either the Instance ID or the 
MAC Address must be specified. If the device is added as a Slave device, then 
both the Instance ID and the MAC Address need to be specified. 
  When an MS/TP device is added as a Master device, then the Network number 
and the MAC Address are not editable. 
  When an MS/TP device is added as a Slave device, then the Network number and 
the MAC Address are editable. 
Using the FLN Device Editor 
 
Creating an FLN Device 
1.  Click the FLN icon from the Create/Edit bar.  
  The FLN DeviceEditor window displays. 
2.  Click Select a Panel at the top of the left pane of the FLN DeviceEditor window to 
display available panels. 
3.  Select the desired panel by clicking the panel name in the left pane of the FLN 
DeviceEditor window. 
4.  Click the + button at the bottom left of the FLN DeviceEditor window. 
  The Device Editor window displays a new FLN Device. 
5.  Enter the new FLN Device information. 
6.  Click Save. 
  The Save button becomes grayed out once the modifications are complete.
