It is recommended that the nebulizer, mouthpiece and mask
be thoroughly rinsed with hot tap water after each use and
cleaned with a mild detergent after the last treatment of the
day. The same pieces MUST also be disinfected daily by
soaking in a vinegar/water solution or a commercially
available disinfectant. If your physician or respiratory
therapist specifies a different cleaning procedure, follow their
instructions.
