• The battery pack is nearly used up.

environment or battery conditions, E 
may flash, even if there are 
approximately 20 minutes remaining.

• Moisture condensation has occurred 

with the disc. Turn off your camcorder 
and leave it for about 1 hour (p.136).

• The temperature of your camcorder is 

getting higher.

• The temperature of your camcorder is 

extremely high.

Turn off your camcorder and leave it for a while in 
a cool place.

• “Memory Stick Duo” is not inserted 

(p.30).

• The “Memory Stick Duo” is damaged.
• The “Memory Stick Duo” is not 

formatted correctly (p.77, 132).

• An incompatible “Memory Stick Duo” 

is inserted (p.132).

steady with both hands and shoot the 
image. However, note that the camera-
shake warning indicator does not 
disappear.

* You hear a melody when the warning indicators 

appear on the screen (p.80).

If messages appear on the screen, follow the 
instructions.
