Ariens Company has received some reports of the rear axle digging into the ground during use of the units 

listed below. This issue tends to be more frequent when cutting in mid-range height of cut and through 
uneven terrain. To correct the problem, Rear Axle Bracket Kits (part numbers 51119000, 51119100 and 
51119300) have been developed. These kits add clearance to the rear axle weldment and help prevent it 
from making contact with the ground.

Please pay special attention to the serial number on an affected unit because it determines which kit 
needs to be installed on that mower. Refer to the tables below to identify the correct kit.

Standard warranty applies. Dealers will be reimbursed 1.25 hours at their standard shop labor rate for 
each machine repaired.
