You can turn off or turn on backup from the Settings
window, Backup Settings window, or from the Backup
Details window.

To turn off or turn on backup from the Settings window

In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, under Quick Controls, do
one of the following:

To turn off backup, uncheck Backup.

To turn on backup, check Backup.

To turn off or turn on backup from the Backup Settings

In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, under Detailed Settings,
click Backup Settings.

In the Backup Settings window, do one of the
following:

To turn off backup, move the On/Off switch to
the right to the Off position.

To turn on backup, move the On/Off switch to
the left to the On position.

then click View Details.
