Name Programming 
A maximum of 16 characters of name of PLU which was programmed in the PLU Table Programming operation 
is set here.

NOTE: 
A maximum of 16 one-byte characters or 8 two-byte characters can be entered.  A combination of 
both types is also available. 
 
 
OPERATION 
CONDITION

“2 NAMES” is 
selected. 
Main Menu 
“4 PLU (ITM NO.) 
NAME” is selected. 
Select a PLU to be 
programmed. 
Input a PLU Name. 
[Enter] 
ECR is being outside a sale and in SET mode. 
Depress [
↓
] then [Enter]. 
Or Depress [2]. 
The ECR enters character input mode. 
This setting is ended.  A long receipt is issued 
and the display returns to Main Menu screen.
 
Depress [
↓
] key three times then [Enter]. 
Or Depress [4]. 
The PLU Name is entered and printed. 
A maximum of 16 one-byte or 8 two-byte 
characters are input. 
Select a PLU of which name is to be 
programmed with the [
↑
] or [
↓
] key.
