3: EtherneTV Set Top Box 
Operation and Use 

Home Page 

When turned on for the first time, the VBrick EtherneTV Set Top Box displays a Home Page.  
If the set top box has not been configured to work with the Media Access Server (MCS), the 
home page resides on the set top box.  If the set top box has been configured to work with 
MCS, the Home page resides on the MCS. 

Local Mode 

If the set top box is set up in 
local mode, internal control 
launches this screen for 
access.  The choices are:

WWW 

 

 

Select Video 

 
MCS Control 

If the set top box is configured 
to work with the MCS, control 
originates from the MCS and 
the initial screen that appears is 
different than local mode.
