6.  A p rompt appears  warning that  the install requires the system  to be rebooted 

at the end of the installation process. Click Yes to continue. 

7.  Choose the setup directory. The default is  C:\Progra m F ile s \ A the ros. 

Cli ck Next.  

8.  Choose the program  folder for the start menu. The default is  A the ros. Click 

Next.  

9.  Fo r a  windo ws XP installation, the next screen defines the Windo ws Zero 

Configuration. Windo ws XP Zero Configuration provides functionality to 

automaticall y try to connect the station to available wi reless netwo rks. For 

com plete information on Windo ws Zero Configuration, see the Microsoft  web 
site.  

10.In this installation, select the Atheros Client Utili ty and Supplicant.  

 

 

 

Cli ck Next. The installer automaticall y installs the dri ver.  

11.Make sure that the USB device is inserted. If it is not, insert  it,  then cancel 

the found Ne w Hard wa re Wizard if i t appears. Proceed wi th the installation. 

Cli ck OK.  

 

12.Windows m ay display a Windo ws Logo error for  the USB bootloader. Cli ck 

Continue Anyway.
