Configuring the System
In this list you enter the numbers and addresses to be blocked.
In the Internet address filter you enter the Internet addresses you want to block, i.e.
to which no connection is to be possible. The monitoring function aborts the connec-
tion procedure as soon as it recognises a correspondence between the addresses.
In order to configure the filter, you enter the name of the server, i.e. that section of the
address following "http://" or "ftp://." Here you can use the "*" as a wildcard standing
for one or more characters. The address is not case-sensitive. For example, to block
all Internet addresses containing the character string "xy," you enter "*xy*." For further
information, please refer to the text file "URLFilter.txt" on the CD-ROM supplied.
To block faxes, you enter the telephone numbers from which faxes are to be rejected.
You can enter max. 10 numbers here.
To block faxes sent without transmission of the telephone number, you enter "*" (star)
as the number to be blocked. Please note that when you block faxes you also block
telephone calls, because in the case of incoming calls, there is no distinction
between a faxes and a normal call.
