Congratulations! Your computer is now ready to connect to the Internet wirelessly through your 
AMG1302/AMG1202-TSeries. 
Note: If you cannot connect wirelessly to the AMG1302/AMG1202-TSeries, check you 
have selected the correct SSID and entered the correct security key. If that does 
not work, ensure your wireless network adapter is enabled by clicking on the 
wireless adapter icon and clicking Enable.
4.5  Configuring the MAC Address Filter for Restricting 
Wireless Internet Access
Thomas noticed that his daughter Josephine spends too much time surfing the web and 
downloading media files. He decided to prevent Josephine from accessing the Internet so that she 
can concentrate on preparing for her final exams.
Josephine’s computer connects wirelessly to the Internet through the AMG1302/AMG1202-TSeries. 
Thomas can deny access to the wireless network using the MAC address of Josephine’s computer.

 Check the MAC address (physical address) of the wireless card on Josephine’s computer using the 
“ipconfig /all” command in a Command Prompt.
