Thermal Module
Removing the Thermal Module
Remove the thermal module according to the following procedures and Figure 4.32.
CAUTION:
When removing the thermal module, keep the following in mind:

The unit can become very hot during operation. Be sure to let it cool down before
starting the repair work.

Use care when removing and disassembling the unit in order to avoid damage.

If you remove the thermal module, please use soft cloth with alcohol to clean the VGA
board and the thermal module. Reapply Shinetsu 7762 grease before installing the
thermal module. If you use one new thermal module, please make sure to remove the
release paper first.

1. Remove the four M2x4.5 spring screws securing the thermal module according to the
sequence indicated in the Figure 4.32.
2. Remove the thermal module from the motherboard.
