Hold the 

SIMM 

in your hand so the component side faces

to the right and the metal connector pins face down. To

insert the SIMM in the socket, place it on the right side of

the tabs at an angle, as shown below.

Gently push down on the SIMM and, at the same time,

guide the top of the SIMM to the right until it is vertical.
