XS712T Smart Switch
Basic VLAN Configuration
Use the VLAN Configuration screen to define VLAN groups stored in the VLAN membership
table. The XS712T supports up to 256 VLANs. VLAN 1, VLAN 2, and VLAN 3 are created by
default, and all ports are untagged members.

To configure VLANs:
1.
Select Switching
VLAN
Basic
VLAN Configuration

2.
Under VLAN ID, specify the VLAN Identifier for the new VLAN.
3.
Optionally, under VLAN Name, specify a name to help identify the VLAN.
4.
Click Add.
To delete a one or more VLANs:
1.
Select the check box next to each VLAN to delete.
Note:
You cannot delete VLANs 1, 2, or 3, which are created by default.
2.
Click Delete.
To modify the VLAN name:
1.
Select the check box next to the VLAN to modify.
2.
Under VLAN Name, specify the new name.
3.
Click Apply.
To reset the VLAN settings on the switch to the factory defaults:
1.
Select the Reset Configuration check box.
2.
Click OK in the popup message to confirm the action.
3.
If the Management VLAN is set to a non-default VLAN (VLAN 1), it is automatically set
to 1 after a the VLAN configuration is reset.
