SNMP Network Manager documents 
The Switch 3900 uses SNMP (Simple Network 
Management Protocol), which can be accessed by 
a remote network management application. 3Com 
has network management applications for a 
variety of platforms. Contact your supplier for 
current product information. Each network 
management application includes a guide that 
explains how to manage your system.
If you are using network management software 
from another vendor, refer to the sections of the 
product’s documentation that describe how to 
manage SNMP devices.
