Probe messages received on this switch. DVMRP 
routers exchange probes and routing updates so 
they each have a picture of their neighbors’ 
capabilities and the DVMRP network topology.

Prune messages received on this switch. This 
indicates the number of old branches removed from 
the multicast distribution tree.

Graft Messages Received

Graft messages received. This indicates the number 
of attempts at adding a new branch to the multicast 
distribution tree.
