ご使用方法 / How to brew

 

お手入れの方法  /  Product care

あらかじめ熱湯であたためておいた

ガラスボールの中に、約30ｇの珈琲粉

を入れます。

珈琲粉全体がよく湿る程度に熱湯を

入れ、約1分ほど蒸らします。

※蒸らす時間が長いほどこくとうまみが出

 てきます。薄めのコーヒーがお好みの方

 は蒸らす時間を短くしてください。

※粉は粗挽き(ザラメ程度)のものをお使い

 ください。

約1分ほど蒸らしたら、図のように、

ガラスボールを傾け、静かに熱湯を

注ぎます。

※熱湯を勢いよく注ぎますとコーヒー粉が

 舞って、コーヒーが粉っぽくなる原因に

 なります。

熱湯を注ぎおわったら、フタをセット

して珈琲粉の対流がおさまるまで約

2分ほど待ちます。(フィルターはまだ

下げないでください。)

コーヒーの対流がおさまりましたら、

フィルターをゆっくりと押し下げ、でき

あがりです。

※フィルターが下がりにくい場合は少し引き

 上げ、2∼3回に分けて押してください。

Use a soft sponge and mild dish detergent for 

cleaning.

Do not use sponges with abrasive or metal scouring 

pads as they may cause damage.

Do not use abrasive cleansers.

They may damage or scratch the surface of the 

glassware.

●ガラスの汚れのひどいときは「家庭用漂白剤」を薄

 めてご使用ください。その際「家庭用漂白剤」の取扱

 注意事項を必ずお守りください。漂白後は十分に水

 洗いしてください。

●Diluted household bleach may be used for 

 cleaning tough stains on glass. Please follow 

 the instructions carefully when using household

 bleach.     

●グラスの底面にある凸部は、接着剤で封じられてい

 ます。先の鋭利なものでつついたり、はがしたりしない

 でください。また、熱により多少軟化することがあります。

●ガラスの内面を洗う際、十分ご注意ください。内側か

 ら力を入れてタオルを絞る様にヒネリ洗いをします

 と、破損し思わぬケガをする危険があります。

●金属製フィルターは、

「家庭用漂白剤」に長時間浸け

 置きしますと金属の耐久性が低下しますので、短時

 間の使用としてください。

●

The durability of the metal filter may decrease if 

    soaked in household bleach for long periods of 

    time. It should be soaked for a short period of

    time only.

●

The convex part on the bottom of the glass is 

    sealed with an adhesive.

    Please do not try to poke or peal if off with sharp

    objects. The adhesive may slightly soften when

    heated.

●

Please be careful when washing the inside of the

    glass. Be careful of injuries due to breakage when

    applying pressure from the inside and twisting 

    the glass from the outside when washing.

●

The filter is composed of the filter base, filter 

    mesh and filter holder as shown in Figure 1.

●

When removing the filter, rotate the filter holder 

    clockwise. When attaching the filter, rotate the 

    filter holder counterclockwise and secure it in

    place.

●

Please make sure the rim of the filter mesh is 

    facing upward as shown in Figure 2.

部品の分解とお取り扱いについて

Assembling and disassembling the metal filter 

●フィルター部の部品は、図1のようにフィルターベース・フィル

 ターメッシュ・フィルターホルダーから構成されています。

●フィルター部分を取り外すには、フィルターホルダーを左に

 回してください。取りつけるときは、右に回して、しっかりと

 取りつけてください。

●フィルターメッシュのふちは、図2のように上向きにしてご使用

 ください。

湯量：約400ml

After warming the glass bowl with hot 

water, add about 30g of ground coffee.

※Please use a coarsely ground coffee. 

When the coffee grounds have steeped 

for about 1 minute, tilt the glass bowl as 

shown in the diagram and slowly pour 

in more hot water.

※If hot water is poured too quickly the 

coffee grounds will be dispersed 

causing coffee to have a powdery taste.

After the hot water has been poured in, 

place the lid on and wait about 2 minutes 

for the coffee grounds to settle. 

(Please do not lower the filter.)

When the coffee grounds settle, slowly 

push down the filter. The coffee is ready.

※If it is difficult to push down the filter, 

pull it up slightly and try pushing it 

down in 2 to 3 pushes.

Add enough hot water to moisten the 

ground coffee thoroughly.

Let coffee grounds steep for about 1 

minute.

※The longer the coffee is steeped the 

more flavor will be extracted. If you 

prefer a lighter coffee, please make 

brewing time shorter.

洗浄する場合は、やわらかいスポンジに中性洗剤を

使用してください。

やわらかいスポンジでも、右図のようにクレンザーや

ガラスに傷のつく研磨材 、

または研磨粒子がついてい

るスポンジなどは使用しないでください。思わぬとき

に破損する原因となります。

/ Handling precautions 

直火にかけられません。

ガラスは割れるものです。洗浄やご使用時はてい

ねいにお取扱いください。
お子様に使用させないでください。また、幼児のそ

ばで使用したり、幼児の手の届く所に置かないで

ください。

●ヒビ、欠け、強いスリ傷の入ったものは、思わぬと

 きに破損することがありますので、使用しないでく

 ださい。

●ガラス器の内面を、金属スプーンなどで強くたた

 いたり、強くこすったりしないでください。破損の

 原因になります。

●破損した際のお取扱いは、ケガをしないよう十分

 ご注意ください。

●廃棄する際は、各自治体の指示に従い分別してく

 ださい。

Handle the glassware with the utmost care.

●Do not use a metal spoon inside the glass bowl.  

     It may cause breakage.

●ダブルグラスコーヒープレスの木部材は、天然木

 （オリーブウッド）を使用しています。オリーブの木は、

 自然の木目が変化に富んでいて美しく、表面が滑

 らかで 手に馴染みます。木のよさを生かすように、

 一つ一つ丁寧に職人が作っています。手作りです

 ので、サイズ・形・木目にばらつきがあります。

●ご使用後、木部に汚れがついた際は柔らかいスポ

 ンジで丁寧に洗ってください。水やお湯に浸けたま

 まにしないでください。キズがつきますので、たわ

 しや硬いもの、クレンザー等で洗わないでください。

 洗った後は柔らかい乾いた布で水気を拭き取って

 ください。

●食器洗い乾燥機はお使いになれません。

●高温多湿・直射日光をさけてください。 
●All wooden parts are made from natural 

 olive wood. Olive trees have beautiful wood 

    grains. The smooth surface fits the hand 

 comfortably  and is easy to handle. The beauty 

    of the wood is  brought out by a  craftsman who

    makes each stand by hand. Size, shape and wood

    grain will vary since they are all handmade.

●Wipe the wooden parts clean with a soft sponge 

 after use. Do not leave the wooden parts soaking 

 in hot or cold water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, 

 scrubbing brushes, or other hard objects which 

 may scratch the surface. Wipe the wooden parts 

 with a soft cloth to remove any excess water.

●Do not use dishwasher and dryer.

●Do not keep in hot and humid location, and avoid 

   to expose to direct sun light.
