able media (StorNext presently uses tape). It appears the first time the administrator connects to 
the browser after installing the StorNext Management Suite.

recoverability of data in SAN environments, while optimizing the use of storage resources. It 

 

consists of two components, the StorNext Storage Manager (StorNext SM) and the StorNext File 
System (StorNext FS).
