Edit Recordings

Renaming a title
The original title name is generated 
automatically by the recorder. You can 
give a new name to the title by following 
the steps below.
A
 In title edit menu, use ST keys to select 
Rename } and press OK.
 A keyboard screen appears.
B
 Use W X ST keys to highlight a 
character/number/symbol and press OK 
to select.
 The maximum input is up to 16 
characters.
  You can use the following keys on the 
keyboard screen to edit your input. Use 
WXST keys to highlight the respective 
bar.
ABC
 
:  display the letters in upper case.
abc
 
:  display the letters in lower case.
?!#
 
:  display the symbols.
Space
 
:  create a space between the 
characters.  
X
 
:  remove the character to the 
left of the cursor.
  To switch between upper, lower case 
characters or symbols input fi elds, press 
í orë repeatedly to select the 
preferred field.
C
 To confi rm, use STWX keys to select 
Confi rm } and press OK.
 The info panel is now updated. 
  To cancel the changes, press BACK on 
the remote control.
Dividing a title (DVD±RW 
only)
You can divide a title into two or more 
titles. Note that the title length must be 
more than 6 (six) seconds.
Warning! Once a title has been divided, 
it cannot be reversed.

 In title edit menu, use ST keys to select 
Divide } and press OK.
 The title screen will be in pause mode 
by default.

 Press u to start playback.
  To make a fast search, press m M 
keys.
  To locate a specifi c frame during 
playback, press u to pause the 
playback, then press W or X repeatedly.

 With { Divide } highlighted, press OK to 
set the dividing point.
D
 Use W X ST keys to select { OK }, 
press OK start divide.
 Once complete, a new title will be 
shown at the disc menu index screen.
