section

instructions
on
how
to
replace
the
heat
sink
and
fan
assembly.
CAUTION:
The
heat
sink
and
fan
assembly
might
be
very
hot.
Turn
off
the
computer
and
wait
three
to
five
minutes
to
let
the
computer
cool
before
removing
the
computer
cover.
To
replace
the
heat
sink
and
fan
assembly:
1.
Remove
the
computer
cover.

2.
Disconnect
the
heat
sink
and
the
fan
assembly
cable
from
the
system
board.
See
3.
Remove
the
fan
plenum
from
the
heat
sink
and
fan
assembly.
See
4.
Pivot
the
handle
1
to
release
the
heat
sink
clamp
and
then
disengage
the
clamp
from
the
plastic
retention
bracket.

your
computer
might

to

below.
