Running, Editing, and Deleting a Protection Plan

Use the three command buttons on the

 display to run, edit or delete a protection plan:

The GoVault data protection software automatically runs your protection 

plans according to your specified run schedule. You can run a plan 

manually, at any time, regardless of the established schedule, by clicking 

the green 

 button for the protection plan in the 

 display on the 

 page (see 

).

When you click 

, the GoVault data protection software changes 

the displayed status of the protection plan from 

 to 

, briefly, 

then to 

, as it displays the progress of the run (see 

Depending in part on the processor speed and memory 

configuration of your computer, and in part on the total 

amount of data you are backing up, the protection plan run 

can be quite lengthy. You can continue working with other 

applications during this time, but your system response will 

likely be slower than normal.
