Close the microprocessor retainer and clamp it with the small handle.

microprocessor heat sink is required. Make sure you have a new retention
module before beginning this procedure.

To replace the system board:

Lay the computer on its side for easier access to the system board.
3.
Remove the hard disk drive fan. See “Replacing the hard disk drive fan
