This unit does not
operate properly.
The internal microcomputer has been
frozen by an external electric shock (such
as lightning or excessive static electricity)
or by a power supply with low voltage.
Disconnect the AC power cord from the outlet and
then plug it in again after about 30 seconds.
“CHECK SP WIRES”
appears in the front
panel display.
Speaker cables are short circuited.
Make sure all speaker cables are connected correctly.
There is noise
interference from
digital or high-
frequency equipment,
or this unit.
This unit is too close to digital or high-
frequency equipment.
Move this unit further away from such equipment.
The picture is
disturbed.
The video source uses scrambled or
encoded signals to prevent dubbing.
This unit suddenly
switches to the
standby mode.
The internal temperature became too high
and the overheat protection circuitry was
activated.
Wait until this unit cools down and then turn it back
on.
The whirring of the
fan can occasionally
be heard.
This unit is fitted with a fan for cooling
purposes. The fan automatically operates
when the temperature inside the unit
becomes too hot, or when the unit is
turned on.
