About this Manual
This reference guide for the Paradyne JetFusion™ Integrated Access Device
(IAD) Models 2208 and 2308 describes features and specifications,
configuration, and cabling. It is not a users guide containing step-by-step
procedures. This manual is designed to be used as a reference regarding
commands, interface ports, configuration parameters, and other information
specific to your IAD.

Chapter 1, "Introduction" – introduces the features of the JetFusion 2208 and
2308 IADs, including the hardware, indicators, and ports.

Chapter 2, "Quick Start Guide" – describes the process of getting an IAD up
and running in a typical customer premises. This chapter is helpful if you’re
new to Paradyne JetFusion products, because it lists each step, beginning
with unpacking the IAD. It also provides information about logging on, using
the menu interface, setting the IP address, basic configuration tasks, and
restarting the IAD. The subsequent chapters provide more detailed
information.

configuring Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), upgrading
ACOS, system utilities, and other topics.

and ATM, and TDM voice for channelized T1/E1 circuits) as well as router,
