N4100 User’s Guide

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

System/Host 
Name

Enter a descriptive name for identification purposes. 

It is recommended you 

enter your computer’s “Computer name” in this field. This name can be 
up to 50 alphanumeric characters long. Spaces, dashes “-” and 
underscores "_" are accepted.

Domain Name Enter the domain name (if you know it) here. If you leave this field blank, 

the N4100 may obtain a domain name from a DHCP server. 

The domain name entered by you is given priority over the DHCP server 
assigned domain name.

Enter the device’s geographical location.

Address

Enter the street address of the device’s location.

City

Enter the city of the device’s location.

State/Province Enter the state or province of the device’s location.
ZIP/ Postal 
Code

Enter the zip code or postal code for the device’s location.
