When the migration failed, the program will cancel the migration and rollback. The 

pervious CNM can work well. 

 

After upgrade 

 

¾  If your previous external FTP server for CNM 2.2 or 2.3 is installed in the same 

machine that your CNM installed, please shutdown it and disabled further CNM 

3.0 running, because CNM 3.0 embed FTP server inside its software.   

If CNM 3.0 is behind NAT router, please configure that router to make sure FTP 

ports (20, 21) are available to devices. 

¾  Because UAM is completely different from CNM 2.3, so the user accounts 

migrated from CNM 2.3 should be re-organized.   
z  Create user groups with specified privileges. 
z  Associate user accounts to specified groups. 

Please reference to User Guide for detail about UAM. 

¾  CNM 3.0 uses VRPT 3.1 for CNM version as its reporting module. So your VRPT 

servers need to be upgraded to 3.1 for CNM version. You can get VRPT 3.1 for 

CNM install package in CNM 3.0 release package. 

Please reference to the upgrade notes of VRPT 3.1 for detail.   

 

If you have never installed CNM before, just run the file “Vantage CNM 

2.3.00.61.00.exe” and follow the wizard to install the CNM.   
¾  Double click “Vantage CNM 2.3.00.61.00.exe”.
