CHAPTER 5

These are the figures for the display when using the handset.

You can place a call on speakerphone anytime by pressing 

during a call, then place

the handset on hook. Picking up the handset (off hook) will transfer the call from speak-

er-phone to the handset. The display will show SPEAKERPHONE, and the

SPEAKER LED will light in this mode. 

These are the figures for the display when using the speaker phone.

Your StarPlus-45 comes with a LED backlight keypad and display. It will turn on auto-

matically when you are making a call. The “NEW CALL” LED will flash to indicate a

new call was received. This LED feature is also used as a Message Waiting * indicator. 

(*Message Waiting is a service offered by your local phone company or a feature of your internal phone system)

1. Pick up the handset. Listen

for the dial tone.

2. Dial desired number. Your

conversation starts when the
other end answers your call. 

3. Hang up upon completion of

the call.
