Using TideTrack™
The 957’s TIDE TRACK screen displays a 24-hour tide graph
for any of over 3,000 NOAA tide stations covering the entire
U.S. coastline, including Alaska and Hawaii, plus much of the
eastern and western Canadian coastline. You can display tides
for the current date or any other date. For details about
TideTrack, see ”Understanding TideTrack™” starting on page

Using the video
image overlay
The 957 offers a video display feature that lets you overlay an
image from a connected video source onto most of the 957’s
display screens. The image can be turned on or off with a
single keypress (VIDEO key), and you can easily adjust the size,
position, and transparency of the image. Transparency refers
to how much of the video image you see (how opaque it is),
compared with how much you can “see through” the image
(how transparent it is) to the screen underneath it. For details,
see ”Using the video display option” starting on page 133.
