Chart setup screen (waypoints)

2. Press the CURSOR PAD to highlight any of the WAYPTS

TO DISPLAY

 lines, then press the EDIT key.

3. Press the CURSOR PAD left or right or press the LEFT

 or RIGHT ARROW keys to highlight the desired

waypoint(s). 

For each highlighted waypoint, to turn the waypoint on or
off, press the ON/OFF key. To turn all waypoint symbols
on or off, press the ALL/NONE key. To use the 961’s
default waypoint symbols, press the DEFAULTS ON key. 

4. When done, press the ACCEPT key (or CANCEL to leave

the option unchanged). 

5. Press  RETURN twice to go back to the SETUP MENU

screen.

After enabling either individual or all waypoint symbols, you 
must ensure that the WAYPT DISPLAY field is set to ON, other-
wise the 961 won’t display any of the enabled waypoint sym-
bols on the CHART screen. Here, you can turn on or off the
