To enable WPA-PSK security on your CN2A With Microsoft Security

Make sure you have configured the communications and 
radio parameters on your CN2A.

Make sure you have selected Microsoft as your security 
choice, as described in “Choosing Between Funk Security and 
Microsoft Security Software” on page 50.

If you plan to use TLS for authentication, load a user and root 
certificate on your CN2A. For help, see “Loading 
Certificates” on page 65.

Open Intermec Settings.

Choose Communications > 802.11 Radio > Microsoft 
Security.

For Infrastructure Mode, choose Infrastructure.

For Network Authentication, choose WPA-PSK and tap 
 
or press Enter. Data Encryption is set to TKIP by default.

For Pre-Shared Key, enter the pre-shared key or the 
passphrase.
The pre-shared key must be a value of 32 hex pairs preceded 
by 0x for a total of 66 characters. The value must match the 
key value on the authenticator. The passphrase must be from 
8 to 63 characters. After you enter a passphrase, the CN2A 
internally converts it to a pre-shared key. 
This value must match the passphrase on the authenticator.

Exit Intermec Settings. If prompted to save your settings, tap
