During VHS tape playback, press [NAVI.] to display the “Naviga-
tion” menu. Press [

] [] [] []  to move the highlight around

and press [ENTER] for confirmation.

Pressing [

] takes you to the next level of menu. Pressing []   at

the main level of menu closes the Navigation menu.

Select “CM Skip” and press [ENTER] to  fast-
forward the playback by 30 seconds.

Playback the recorded session in slow motion (at
-1/4x speed). Press [

PLAY] to resume normal

playback.

This unit automatically records special index
signals on the tape every time a recording is
started. The index search function makes use of
these index signals to let you find the beginning of
a desired program quickly and easily.
When “Index Search +” is selected, the unit will
start searching for the next index mark.
When “Index Search -” is selected, the unit will
start searching for the previous index mark.

The VHS is rewinded to where the counter shows
“00:00:00”

Sets the tape counter to “00:00:00”  where you
select “Counter Set.”

The automatic track function adjusts the picture to
remove snow or streaks. It works in the following
cases:
1. When a tape is played for the first time.
2. When the tape speed (SP, LP, SLP) changes.
3. When streaks or snow appear because of
scratches on the tape.

Sets tape audio to Hi Fi, Left, Right or Mono.

Press [NAVI.] again or [

] to exit the “Naviga-

tion” menu.
