BGC (Boundary Gain Compensation)

Setting

A room’s boundaries (i.e., walls) and their construction
may make bass sounds louder when the listening posi-
tion or subwoofer is positioned close to such a boundary.
This is called the boundary gain effect. With this setting,
you can compensate for this and achieve a more accurate
and flatter bass response.

On:

  Boundary Gain Compensation on.

Off:

  Boundary Gain Compensation off (default).

THX Loudness Plus uses THX Multi-channel Spectral
Balancing and THX Dynamic Ambience Preservation
technologies to preserve the ambient sound and rich
detail of surround sound in movies, video games, and
music when listening at lower volume levels, providing
an accurate listening experience at any volume.
