The In Focus LP740B™ is a multimedia projector that packs 
SXGA graphics (1280x1024) with 16.7 million colors. It generates 
crisp, clear images using a new and innovative reflective technol-
ogy. The projector has three computer inputs and two video 
inputs and is ideal for high-performance business, engineering 
and imaging applications that demand exceptional resolution 
and color quality.

The SXGA resolution of the 740B’s projected image is 1280x1024. 
If your computer’s screen resolution is 1600x1200, the projector 
generates a partial image within 1280x1024. You can adjust the 
horizontal and vertical position of the image using the Image 
Conrol menu (see page 18). If your computer’s screen resolution 
is 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768, you can resize the image to 
1280x1024 by pressing the Resize button on the keypad or 
remote.

The projector is compatible with a wide variety of computers and 
video devices, including:

IBM, SUN, SGI, and selected HP and DEC workstations, up to 
1600x1200 resolution.

•

IBM-compatible computers, including laptops, up to 1600x1200 
resolution.

•

Apple Macintosh and PowerBook computers up to 1600x1200 
resolution.

•

Most standard VCRs, camcorders and laser disc players.
