To listen to the
previous or next
message

After you select the message, press the More soft key to locate the Prev and Next
soft keys.

To return to the list
of messages

After you select the message, press the More soft key and then press the Msgs soft
key. From the message play screen, press the Msgs soft key.

To play a voice
message that is
interrupted by a
broadcast message

If an emergency message is broadcast to your phone while you are playing a voice
message, the voice message will stop playing and you will hear the broadcast
message. After the emergency broadcast message has ended, you can replay the voice
message by selecting it from the message list.

If a non-emergency message is broadcast to your phone while you are playing a voice
message, the voice message will be paused and the phone screen displays any text or
images included in the broadcast message. You will not hear the audio portion of the
broadcast message. To return to the voice message that is paused, press the Left
arrow key.

To answer a phone
call while a
message is playing

Pick up the handset and then press the switch hook to listen to the phone call. After
the phone call, select the message from the message list to play it.

To exit Visual
Modular Messaging

From the message list, press the Logout soft key. We recommend that you log out of
Visual Modular Messaging when not using it to prevent unauthorized access to your
voice messages.

If you see the message “Audio unavailable. Please try again.”, you will need to end the function that is
currently using the audio portion of your phone before you can play voice messages. For example, if you
have a call on hold, you cannot listen to voice messages until you release the call.
